SEGA hints at new sonic title...
This year is Sonic’s 20th anniversary, and SEGA has been hinting that some big news is due regarding the manic blue hedgehog.
“Sonic's 20th Anniversary is this year, but SEGA start celebrating on Thurs 7th April” SEGA announced on the official Sonic the Hedgehog Facebook page. “There's something big coming this week.”
Fueling speculation about a new Sonic game, Twitter spy Supererogatory uncovered two domain registrations containing the title ‘Sonic Generations’ - SonicGenerations.com and Sonic-Generations.com.
SEGA announced last year that a new Sonic game will be released in 2011, and rumours point towards an anniversary compilation of classic Sonic levels - both 2D and 3D - remade for current-gen consoles. Check back tomorrow for more details.
