Sonics old and new go head-to-head as 20th Anniversary celebrations hot up...
Following on from SEGA's Facebook tease of "something big coming this week" regarding Sonic and the subsequent exhuming of Sonic Generations web domains, SEGA has now released a teaser trailer revealing a new Sonic title to the world.
As part of Sonic's 20th Anniversary celebrations this year, this new title appears to feature Sonics old and new with both retro and contemporary designs of the character starring in the Facebook-exclusive vid.
The trailer ends with a "Coming 2011" banner and listed Xbox 360/PS3 platforms. Although the PSN and Xbox Live logos are present, this isn't necessarily indicative of a digi-download title (merely online integration instead) but it's worth remembering that Sonic 4: Episode 1 went down the XBLA/PSN path. More as we get it...
