Sly Racoon 2 – First Details News

Via the American Official Playstation Magazine, the first details of â??Sly Racoon 2: Band of Thievesâ?? were disclosed to the Internet.

It seems as if more is the keyword at Sucker Punch, with confirmation that the sequel will offer (thankfully) twice as many levels as that featured in the creative yet limited original. Surprisingly the article claims that inspiration from the likes of â??Grand Theft Auto 3â?? has resulted in levels that offer a greater degree of freedom and less linearity.

In an apparent effort to give the â??collect-em-upâ?? genre a deserved kick in the right direction, itâ??s been suggested that the game will eradicate all forms of collecting items such as bottles and horseshoes; although weâ??ll wait a little longer before believing this.

As youâ??d expect from a sequel, Sly has benefited from the addition of a handful of new abilities including pick-pocketing and air combos.

Bentley and Murray are set to return each with their own unique weapons, however this time around players will be able to take control during certain missions.
