Cheat Mode
Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + C to display the console window. Enter one of the following case-insensitive codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. Note: On Vista you may need to press [Ctrl] + [Windows] + [Shift] + C to display the console window. Note: The codes for the original The Sims 3 can also be enabled.| Effect | Code |

Testing cheats
Some adventure items can be reconstructed on home lots when a specific number of fragments are collected. Note: More adventure items can also be placed by enabling the BuyDebug on code. After these items are placed, enable the testingCheatsenabled true code, enter Buy mode and hold [Shift] + [Ctrl] and click them to access advanced scripting options used in adventures (for example, linking triggers to enable them or any number of relic or treasure items they spawn). Note: Normal Sims 3 items often only have the "Clone" option when clicked. Note: The testing cheats for the original The Sims 3 can also be enabled.Advertisment
