A re-imagining of the 1999 classic, coming to Wii, PSP, and PS2...
Following recent sightings, Konami today officially lifted the wraps on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, confirming a PS2 version in the process alongside the reported Wii and PSP titles.
A "re-imagining" of the original shares the twisting plot of the PSone title, . Familiar characters will offer different responses and can be found in different locations, along with new clues and paths to be found through the adventure as Harry Mason attempts to find his missing daughter.
The Wii version makes specific use of the Wii Remote both as a torch and mobile phone, along with picking up, examining and manipulating objects to solve the various puzzles.
A new Psyche Profile feature keeps track of your various choices throughout the game, covering reactions such as where you explore, examined items, and reactions to characters. Although we're slightly unclear, Konami suggests the Psyche Profile will in turn adapt Harry's actions whenever he meets characters in the game.
