Konami`s classic horror scares off the punters...

Konami's Silent Hill 2 met with moderate success after it's first week of sales in Japan. The title sold 77,633 units but was beaten into first place by Dynasty Warriors III (83,768). <br /> <br /> The moderate success can largely be explained by the lack of appeal towards the title in the native Japan. As with the first title it's believed sales will increase when released in the US and Europe, however Konami have hinted that they'll have to check the figures before work can start on a third title in the franchise.
