they would probably just ruin Alpha Centauri like they ruined the civilization series. They'll dumb it down and make it all cartoony to appeal to the ADHD generation.

He's heading up Big huge Games, which was responsible for the Rise of Nations games and an Age of Empires III expansion pack. The developer also has a couple of announced games in the pipeline.
Alpha Centauri 2 would be awesome though - could give the 4X strategy genre the kind of boost that it's in desperate need of.

This is BS...Wii should be first, and will be the best of the versions because of the user interface.
