TDK Mediactive, announced today plans to develop games for the GameCube video game system. TDK anticipates a Q4 2002 release date for the first GameCube titles. <br /> <br /> "Since the launch on November 18, GameCube has become one of America's fastest selling new video game hardware system," said Vincent Bitetti, chief executive officer of TDK Mediactive. "We currently have four titles in development with more planned and anticipate a strong installed base of machines and increased demand by holiday 2002." <br /> <br /> Current TDK titles in development for the GameCube include: "Shrek(TM)," "Robotech(R)," "Dinotopia(TM)" and a fourth title to be announced in the future. GameCube developers currently under contract with TDK Mediactive include: Digital Illusions, Vicious Cycle and Prolific Publishing.
