A Sega classic gets revitalised for the Playstation2…

Long-standing Sega fans will feel a shiver run down their neck at the mere mention of Shinobi. The series that kickstarted on the Master System, but became a classic on the MegaDrive with the fantastic Revenge of Shinobi, has been very quiet since its last appearance on the Saturn. However that has all changed over the weekend with the first screens appearing in a Japanese magazine of Shinobi’s new adventure on the PS2.

Specific details are being kept secret, however it’s known that the series has made the move into 3D, whilst keeping the feel of the original games. Lets hope it’s more successful then other classic franchises.

We’ll have a lot more on Shinobi soon, hopefully a first look at E3.

Source: Ruliweb
