Overworks founder confirms that a sequel is in the works...
Whilst we wait for SCEE to publish Shinobi in Europe (May’ish); Overworks head-honcho Noriyoshi Ohba, recently confirmed that his team are currently developing a sequel to the action PS2 title.<br><br>Whilst general opinion of the PS2 title appears to be geared towards the hard-core market, Shinobi is without doubt one of the most popular of Sega’s long-line in proven franchises.<br><br>No specific information or format was given for the sequel, except for the intriguing comment that the sequel will come in a ‘completely different direction’ from the original – so that means we’ll have cell-shaded Shinobi next year probably!!!
