European release for The Wind Waker, Advance Wars 2 and Mario Advance 4, yippae...
Alongside unveiling the GameBoy Advance SP, Nintendo took the chance to announce their forthcoming 2003 line-up for the GameCube and GameBoy Advance. Unfortunately there are very few surprises; Nintendo fans can take solace in the fact that Mario Kart appears to be on track for release later in the year, although no mention was made of the fabled online support. Other notable entries include a confirmed European release date for The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and for Sega’s Phantasy Star Online: Episode 1&2, which is set to launch alongside Nintendo’s half-baked attempt at online gaming.
Elsewhere the GameBoy Advance fares slightly better with sequels to Golden Sun and Advance Wars on the way in 2003; but perhaps the best news is the confirmation of Mario Advance 4, hopefully an all-new 2D Mario title.
Of course it’s without doubt that Nintendo have kept a number of games secret, most of these games we already know about and as such have failed to generate any real interest; hopefully it won’t be too long before Nintendo begin to talk seriously – Mario 128 at E3 anyone???

2003 GameCube Releases -
January –

Blood Omen 2 (Eidos) - 24th

VIP (Ubi Soft) - 30th

Outlaw Golf (TDK)

Robotech – Battlecry (TDK)

Bounty Hunter (Lucas Arts)

Evolution Skateboarding (Konami)

February -

Evolution World/NEO (Ubi Soft) - 6th

Super Bust A Move All Stars/3000 (Ubi Soft) - 20th

Rolling (Rage) - 28th

Paris Dakar 2 (Acclaim) - 28th

Disney Sports Skateboarding (Konami)

Pac Man World 2 (Namco/EA)

Super Monkey Ball 2 (Infogrames/SEGA)

Rally Championship (Sales Curve)

Darkened Skye (TDK)

Jimmy Neutron Boy Genius (THQ)

Battle Bots (THQ)

Summoner 2: A Goddess Reborn (THQ)

Rugrats Royal Ransom (THQ)

Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc (Ubi Soft)

March -

Shaun Murray’s Pro Wakeboarder (Activision) - 1st

Resident Evil 0 (Capcom) - 7th

Phantasy Star Online (Infogrames/SEGA) - 7th

Metroid Prime (Nintendo) - 21st

City Racer (Ubi Soft) - 27th

Zapper (Infogrames)

Batman – Dark Tomorrow (Kemco/Kotobuki)

RTX Red Rock (Lucas Arts)

Disney Sports Basketball (Konami)

MBWR (TDK)

Monsters Inc. This is easily my BEST 2 games EVER, the storyline, the characters, the Q.T.E's and basically everything about Shenmue 1 & 2 is absolutely amazing. In this day and age if you re-release the first 2 parts along with part 3 the actual games market has grown up alot and these titles would be very welcomed and will sell very well, hell even if you spruce up the graphics etc im sure fans like myself would buy them again as to refresh themselves with the story making you (SEGA) even more money. So please SEGA give Yu the permission to release what millions of fans around the world are eagerly waiting for, this saga needs an ending.

It's so going to happen - I just hope SEGA/Suzuki remaster 1 & 2 and try to resell the experience all over again. Shenmue was ahead of its time and I'm almost certain that it would find a stronger market now then it did 10 years ago.

i understand not havin enough profits to make shenmue 3 but sega is worried about shenmue doing poorly in sales, i hope they realize if they somehow do make enough money to produce shenmue 3 they could make a huge fortune from it, shenmue 3 is one of the most demanded games all over the world in, fact shenmue 3 could be the thing to finally put sega back on top, anyway i hope they do make a shenmue 3 because i'm sure i'm just one of millions of people who want the stunning conclussion to the shenmue series

its not all yu suzuki's decision most of the decision lies with sega as it has just said clearly but also the concern lies with cost being the second most expensive game it is hardly surprising but iam hoping that they do release the 3rd one it was one of my favorite games of all time in fact i consider it to be one of the best games of all time, yakuza 3 was good but shenmue still has a place for me as it was one of the 1st rpg's i experienced.
please sega release shenmue 3 theres clearly a load of fans that want this you did it with yakuza do it with shenmue.

Shame on you Yu Suzuki. Making us wait for shenmue 3 like were stray dogs looking for food in a dumpster. I want and especially the FANS want to know what happends. Does Ryo die.... or does he finally defeat Lan Di. I want to know I have been waiting Eight and a half years and I hope that somthing will be said about shenmue 3.kinda pissed me off when Yu was asked about it in 2006 and then acted very pissed off about it acting like "Why the HELL would be realeaseing that game." You are REALLY PISSIN' OFF FANS YU SUZUKI and I HOPE at E3 this year 2010 that something will be said and not some wise[#@!?]answer like "At this time no". Come on Yu if you're not going to realease Shenmue 3 then say We will NEVER release this Game... End of Story!!! That aleast would put things at a halt and the hopes of the third game would be ended. Don't get me wrong, I love Shenmue series Best game series ever created to me at least but when some game creator let's their fans waiting and waiting some people will be pissed off (like me) and thats how you will lose buissnes!
