Shaun White Snowboarding

Towards the beginning of 2006, Ubisoft signalled their intention to expand their sports offering with the announcement of an agreement with Shaun White to feature in a videogame due for release in 2007. As the year draws to a close details on the Olympic gold medal winner's videogame debut have failed to materialise, so we thought it's about time to enquire what's been happening.

Responding to our enquiries a Ubisoft representative confirmed that the Shaun White videogame is still in development, but at present no further details are known about the game.

Whilst we've come away none the wiser at least we know the game hasn't been shelved, so we'll leave it to the man himself to describe his ambitions and passion for Prince of Persia:

"I'm stoked to be working with Ubisoft to develop a video game that captures the thrill of snowboarding like no game has done before," White said. "I'm a huge fan of Ubisoft games like Prince of Persia, so I'm excited to be able to combine what I love about snowboarding and gaming into an experience for everyone to enjoy."

getting the last gold coin in europe is esier than it looks. dont try to get it from the slope instead get on the ski lift that runs up that part of the mountain and jump off when you see a ridge not far after the guide marker to the left. when you r there just follow that path. by the way, when u get on the ridge place a marker to save having to go on the lift again.

I enjoy snowboarding but I dont think this game (or many others) captures the techniques right.  Perhaps 1080 on the N64 is closest to caputring that.

How do you get the master coin in Europe.  The one one top of the mountain.  I can't even see it, let alone find it!

Playing this game on the Wii with the WiiFit board I find it pretty addictive. It's taken place over my Call of Duty; World at War (xBox 360) and Fable II (xBox 360) quite easily.
I can agree that there is not a lot of variance throughout the game but it definately grips me with a challenge to improve. The soundtrack is awesome and the multiplayer mode has given me and my friends a lot of fun.

I wouldn't suggest this game to anything but those on the Wii Board, using the controller just doesn't match up. (High Score on "The end of the line" - 49,865. :D)

Enjoy!
