A new character and some additional modes will come to Ubisoft's Scott Pilgrim game as DLC...
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game will receive DLC in November that's set to add a new character and two additional game modes to the PSN and XBLA title.
Knives Chau is the sixth mystery character for the game, who will join the existing cast of Scott, Ramona, Stephen Stills, Kim Pine, and the unlockable Nega-Scott character. Knives already features in the game as a 'Summonable' character but not as a playable one.
The two new modes are a Super Smash Bros-esque Free-For-All Arena Battle mode and a Dodgeball mode (according to Joystiq), which join the previously announced/uncovered Survival Horror and Boss Rush modes in the game.
Pricing is set at $1.99 over PSN and 160 Microsoft Points on XBLA, which equates to just over a pound here in the UK. A patch will be issued alongside the DLC that will rebalance the Average Joe difficulty setting to make it easier and add drop-in/drop-out co-op. However, there are no plans to add online co-op to the game or any further DLC following this instalment.
