VU Games confirms that the audio production of the forthcoming videogame was mixed at George Lucas' Skywalker Sound...

Following recent news that the introduction sequence for Vivendi Games' Scarface: The World Is Yours has been produced by Hollywood's Kyle Cooper and Prologue Films, the publisher has today confirmed that the audio production of the game also received a touch of movie magic in the sound department.

In an attempt to take the audio design to the next level, the developers of the game utilised the knowledge and skills of Skywalker Sound, part of George Lucas' empire, and in particular Randy Thorn. Thorn has worked on many feature films in the past including Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now.

"Scarface: The World Is Yours will deliver a surprising audio experience that will add life and power to the experience of playing as the one-and-only Tony Montana," said Randy Thom. "By bringing the game and its developers to Skywalker Sound and remixing the game on-site, we were able to create a more detailed and engaging audio experience that goes beyond what other games have achieved."

In addition to the audio production, the game will also feature a number of actors including the likes of Elliot Gould, Jason "Snoochie Boochie" Mewes, and Robert Loggia.
