Renowned Hollywood title sequence director brings Vivendi's forthcoming "what if" sequel to life...

Sculpting the title sequences behind Hollywood blockbusters such as Spider-Man, Superman Returns, Se7ev, Mission Impossible and many more, Vivendi Games today announced the appointment of Kyle Cooper and Prologue Films to produce the opening sequence to the forthcoming Scarface: The World is Yours.

Founder and Creative Director at Prologue Films, Cooper has shot more than 130 title sequences for major motion pictures. Tasked with creating a sequence that summarises the storyline and action of the motion-picture original, whilst introducing the cast of more than 50 celebrity voice-overs who have provided performances for the game's main characters.

"With a franchise as revered as Scarface, every element in the game must meet only the highest standards while creating the feel of viewing a Hollywood-produced sequel," said Cindy Cook, chief strategy and marketing officer for Vivendi Games. "By partnering with Prologue Films, Sierra Entertainment has ensured that the game's commitment to quality will be evident from the first moments of the game. The sequence produced by Prologue Films will immediately excite gamers and remind the Scarface fans of why this iconic film is still so popular today."

Scarface: The World is Yours is released for the Playstation2, Xbox and PC on October 13th; keep your eyes peeled for the review very soon.
