Internet posting fuels speculation that Sam & Max aren’t dead – well just yet...

A recent posting on an Internet forum has today fuelled rumours that the on-off return of Sam & Max could still be on the cards, as Wolfgang Kierdorf President Bad Brain Entertainment, claimed:

â??also there are negotiations with LucasArts but I canâ??t get into detail here. maybe this will be the surprise release of 2005. the game you all wanted but didnâ??t get (except for a fine trailer)â?

So whilst not exactly official confirmation it should provide a flicker of hope to the prospect of Sam & Max 2 actually emerging from the tangled mess that itâ??s currently in. Itâ??s also worth pointing out that TellTale Games (founded by the creator of Sam & Max) could also have an interest in the title, with inside sources recently claiming that the Sam & Max license between LucasArts and its original creator is due to run out in May 2005.

Weâ??ll have more information soon.
