Telltale needs an Xbox 360 Systems Programmer; could the investigative duo be examining the next-gen console soon???

Already investigating why Abe Lincoln Must Die on PC, are Telltale Games' private dicks Sam & Max preparing to leap onto Xbox 360? That's the question that fans of the series will be asking after the developers of the adventure series, Telltale Games, posted a job vacancy for an Xbox 360 Systems Programmer.

Whilst the detective team's move to the console remains speculative (after all, Telltale has a number of other brands), the requirement for the candidate to "Modify and support existing art and production path to accommodate Xbox 360 production" does seem to suggest it will be Steve Purcell's creations making the jump.

Telltale Games are yet to comment on their plans for the next-gen consoles, though with digital distribution part of all three console platforms, the possibilities for episodic content on the likes of Xbox 360 is already in place.
