Telltale Games today posted the first details on the return of Sam & Max. The agreement between Telltale and the duoâ??s creator Steve Purcell is described as wide ranging and one to take Sam & Max into the 21st century.
The 2006 release will follow a similar model to Telltaleâ??s recently released adaptation of Bone, arriving in a series of episodic content â?“ although the update does hint towards seeing them both in â??other placesâ?.
When posed the question as to whether the game will be based upon the cancelled Sam & Max Freelance Police, Telltale Games seem to deny any knowledge of the title â?“ make of that what you will.
Telltale Games are keeping quiet on the title until early 2006 when they promise the next batch of information; in the meantime fans can check out Purcellâ??s serialised Sam & Max adventure at snm.telltalegames.com/.
