Saints Row 2

At its Gamers Day event held in San Francisco, THQ has outlined its fiscal 2009 line-up, including a mixture of original concepts and the latest titles in established franchises and series.

The event includes Volition's Saints Row 2 and Red Faction: Guerrilla, the return of WWE: Smackdown vs RAW 2009 and Relic Entertainment's Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II. Alongside such established titles are a range of original titles including Blue Tongue Entertainment's anticipated de Blob, Darksiders: Wrath of War from Vigil Game, Rainbow Studios' Deadly Creatures, and a couple of others that we can't talk about just of yet.

"THQ has a strong track record of delivering top-selling franchises and we are excited to unveil a compelling slate of new titles for our fiscal 2009 product line-up," said Bob Aniello, senior vice president of marketing, THQ. "Video games are becoming the center of social networks and our new line-up fully capitalizes on this with innovations such as customization, user-generated content, and online community. From Saints Row 2 to de Blob, we've got all gamers covered."

"THQ has a substantial development pipeline and product portfolio positioned to capitalize on the exciting industry growth over the next several years," said Brian Farrell, president and CEO, THQ. "Our fiscal 2009 line-up demonstrates the depth and breadth of THQ's product offering, from established franchises for avid gamers such as Saints Row and Red Faction, to broadly appealing fun casual games like de Blob and Battle of the Bands."

TVG is over at San Francisco and will be bringing you exclusive First Looks of many of the titles and interviews with the teams behind the games, so keep your eyes peeled across the weekend for the latest on THQ's titles.

This game is way better than gta 4 even.  Looks just as good, has way more activities better customization like of cars, cribs, your gangs style, and everything else.  plus no ingame loading screens.  Vehicles are way funner to drive and you actually have good weapons unlike gta garb.  I am also a big fan of gta series (especially San Andreas), but since SA, the game is declining.
