Snowboarding game to be released during 2012 skiing season...
EA has announced that its snowboarding franchise reboot game, SSX, will be released in January 2012.
Creative Director Todd Batty revealed the release window to Joystiq during a recent showcase in San Francisco. The game recently dropped its ‘Deadly Descents’ moniker, in an effort to refocus the brand on its core racing and trick modes.

Yeah, err look at the article above the rumour piece that was posted five days later on December 13th - it reports an official announcment of the game. on December 8th, when we ran the rumour article, EA hadn't officially announced the game.
Check the dates on articles - shoddy commenting 'skillz'.
