Reports indicate that EA Canada is working on a reboot to EA's popular SSX series of snowboarding and skiing games...

Rumour has it that EA Canada is working a new SSX title that's being created by many of the developers behind EA's Skate series of games.

SSX's last outing was on the Wii back in 2007, but according to a Kotaku report there is another instalment on the way that's already been in development for two years.

Early indications are that the new game will feature a similar control suite to the Skate games, where intuitive gestures are grafted onto the right thumbstick to denote tricks.

The project is apparently in development for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and is seemingly set to take the series "back to its roots", which points to a reboot of sorts.

This follows movement from EA on the SSX front earlier this year, including circulated questionnaires that were targeted at SSX fans and a couple of domain name registrations.

Yeah, err look at the article above the rumour piece that was posted five days later on December 13th - it reports an official announcment of the game. on December 8th, when we ran the rumour article, EA hadn't officially announced the game.

Check the dates on articles - shoddy commenting 'skillz'.
