In triumphant mood from record breaking fiscal 2005 reports, EA once again turned to its heavyweights, with confirmation of the latest title in EA BIGâ??s SSX series.
SSX On Tour is currently in development for the Playstation2, Xbox and GameCube, and promises to take the personalisation features to new heights along with the introduction of skiing. Players can create their own boarder or skier and develop their career from a wannabe to mountain rockstar.
All-new shred challenges provide the chance to get noticed, which earns an invite to The Tour to compete against the best racers in the SSX cast. EA Canada promises all-new monster tricks and tracks for the game.
"SSX On Tour is a completely fresh take on the SSX franchise," said Steve Barcia, senior producer on the game. "Building on the core speed and trick gameplay that has been so successful in the past, you can now choose your way to become a black diamond rockstar."
