Refusing to let sleeping dogs lie, SNK Playmore and Ignition Entertainment today announced the release of SNK Arcade Classics Vol.1 for Wii, PS2, and PSP.

Due for release during the autumn on PS2 and PSP with the Wii version following later, the packed compilation includes 16 SNK titles, many of which serve as the introductions to several of SNK's once mighty brands. Presumably Vol.2, 3 and so forth will cash in on the sequel heavy series.
