New entry in classic racing series to hit XBLA and PSN in 2011...
SEGA has announced SEGA Rally Online Arcade, a downloadable racing game due for release on XBLA and PSN in 2011. The new title is said to be inspired by SEGA Rally Revo and SEGA Rally 3.
“We’ve blended our hit arcade racing series with the best elements from the console versions to bring our fans the SEGA Rally experience in compact, downloadable format,” explained Haruki Satomi, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA.
SEGA Rally Online Arcade will retain the Championship Battle and Time Attack modes of previous entries in the series, while adding 6-player online racing with leaderboard support. The new game will feature a selection of 13 different rally cars to race in.
