they should release a collection of all the sega racers(OutRun,Turbo OutRun,OutRunners,Daytona USA, Sega Rally, Virtua Racing, Hang-On, Super Hang-On, Enduro Racer, Power Drift) on psp 360 and ps3 it would make a lot of money people want to play these favorites again and sega should let them but they just dont understand...

Also if anyone has played Sega Rally 3 in arcades they they will have noticed that the originals Sega Rally's Desert and Lakeside track is in there. The other tracks in Sega Rally 3 are similar to Sega Rally Revo's however they are not the same they just look the same, I am still waiting for Sega to put the Sega Rally 3 tracks on Xbox Live or PSN for Sega Rally Revo, or better still do a port for each of the systems as it is a excellent game and fantastic addition to the great Sega Rally series

I love to hear more on this as I am an Obsessesd Daytona/Sega racing Fanboy (I love all of Sega's racing franchises, Daytona USA, SCUD Race, Sega Rally, Outrun, F355 Challenge, Sega GT and so on). I hope Sega Racing Classic is a Daytona compliation if anything. Why? Because Namco's Ridge Racer (Daytona's original rival) was re-released update for the PSP in 2004 and included most of the main tracks from each of the early games (it included Ridge Racer's, RR Revoulution's, Rage Racer's, Rave Racer's, Ridge Racer Type 4' and Ridge Racer 5' tracks, and more went into the sequel Ridge Racer 2, 2 years after). So if Namco can do this, then so can Sega and it shoul include all the tracks from Daytona USA, Daytona USA CCE and 2001, Scud Race's, Daytona USA 2 Battle on Edge and Power Edition tracks and maybes a few new stage or updates.

What ever happen to this title is going to be exicting watching it progress it could be the Daytona we've all been waiting for all these years. Sega Rally Revo was a great game but sadly it was ignored as someone mentioned below. Lets hope it does happen to this.

@ SegaBoy > Sega Rally 2006 did come out in Japan on the PS2 and the copy I imported came with an Arcade perfect version of Sega Rally Championship 1995 which is awesome. Sega Rally 2006 was rather dissapointing as it wasn't the same as the others instead of being circuit based it was a point to point racer which in my option isn't Sega Rally. It wasn't terrible though.

Sega Rally 2006 Arcade Series 4 actually had the original tracks from the original Sega Rally Championship tracks but updated into point to point style.

Anyone who had Outrun 2 on Xbox can play on the Daytona 2 Power Edition and Scud Racer track for completing the mission in the Outrun 101 missions mode.

Hell yeah - I mastered both of them.  For some reason, I had more fun witht he original SEGA Rally on Saturn then I did with SR2 on Dreamcast.

Do you remember SEGA Rally 2006 that only came out in Japan on the PS2?  Saw it at Tokyo Game Show in 2004, but it never materialised anywher else.

the same could be said about the dreamcast and saturn versions absolute gems but everyone was too hyped up over the ps1 and ps2 to care about them.

I thought SEGA Rally from the sadly missed SEGA Racing Studio was a good attempot at re-doing the original SEGA Rally - Lakeside and everything!  Shame nobody bloody bought it.

I wish. Unfortunately, if the rumours have any substance to them (which is highly questuionable), then this latest "SEGA Racing Classic" will be coming to arcade machines first. In other words, it's not an XBLA/PSN remake, although that would be awesome. Why stop there though? SEGA should do the same with the original SEGA Rally from 1995 as well.
