Activision announces that Rome: Total War has gone gold, ahead of the September 22nd release…

Total War fans prepare for the release of Rome next week. Activision has announced today that the epic strategy game set during the Roman empire has gone gold.

Promising that the game will bring, â??cinematic battles of the Roman era to life with graphics and gameplay beyond anything previously seen in a PC game,â? Rome: Total War will take you back 2000 years right into the battles of the Ancient World.

The game will include up to 10,000 warriors on screen at any one time, with players having the ability to even play as Julius Caesar and Hannibal (not Lecter).

TVG will bring you a review of this Empire conquering title soonâ?¦
