Rock Band 2 Dated For The Rest News

MTV Games confirms release dates for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and Wii versions of Rock Band 2...

EA Partner, MTV Games, has today confirmed the UK release dates for Rock Band 2 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and Wii.

Due on the two Sony home platforms from 23rd March and Wii on 24th April, the sequel includes over 100 tracks from the likes of AC/DC, Pearl Jam, and Guns 'n' Roses, with the added functionality to import songs from the original Rock Band, and downloadable tracks on the online store.

MTV Games has also revealed the price points of Rock Band 2, with standalone guitars retailing at £39.99, drums at £49.99, and the entire instrumental pack at £89.99. The combined Rock Band Instrument Edition and Rock Band game will also receive a new price point, at £119.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and £109.99 on PlayStation 2 and Wii.

Rock Band 2 launched as a timed exclusive on Xbox 360 in November 2008.
