The Bourne brand becomes the first title trimmed from Vivendi's catalogue...

Following days of uncertainty surrounding the noticeable omissions from Activision's sudden analysis of Vivendi Games' catalogue, Gamasutra today brings word that Ludlum Entertainment has reacquired the videogame rights to the Bourne franchise.

Both Vivendi Games and High Moon Studios had expressed an interest in developing the Bourne series with future titles, but it seems such hopes were a little premature. Nevertheless, it appears Ludlum Entertainment is eager to find a new partner for future videogame outings with Ludlum Entertainment CEO Jeffrey Weiner claiming:

"We look forward to working with innovative partners in the gaming community and new investors to further extend the reach and appeal of Robert Ludlum's stories and to help write the next chapter for this powerful and timeless entertainment franchise."

This game is exactly as good as I thought it would be. I did'nt expect it to be overwhelming but expected a solid action/adventure game.

The Bourne Conspiracy is one of the best action games I played in a long time beside Uncharted Drakes Fortune. Bourne Conspiracy puts action games at new heights. If you own a Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 pick this one up

The choreography behind the fight scenes is pretty amazing, love the way the camera swooshes up close.

The demo is really good, apart from the driving around Paris - that's pretty dreadful.

Robert Ludlum RIP (1927 - 2001). Doubtful that his "collaboration" was very active.
