Resistance: Retirbution To Use PSP Plus News

By Gwynne Dixon on 09/10/2008

The first game to use PSP Plus, a technology that allows gamers to use a PS3 controller on their PSP, will be Resistance: Retribution...

Reports from the Tokyo Game Show are suggesting that the first game to use Sony's patented PSP Plus technology (that allows gamers to link a DualShock 3 or SIXAXIS controller to their PSP) will be Resistance: Retribution.

Gamers will have to have a copy of Resistance 2 in their PS3 to switch on the feature (reports Kotaku), but once it's initiated players will be able to enjoy rumble support and an extra analogue stick with the game's assisted aiming turned off.

It seems only the PSP 2000 and 3000 will be able to take advantage of this PSP Plus feature because it requires an AV output specific to those models, but at least there'll be no analogue 'nipple' holding us back any longer.
