Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles will build on the Wii's previous Resi exclusive, Umbrella Chronicles...
Following Capcom's hints that a new Resident Evil game may be coming to Nintendo's Wii, Famitsu has now confirmed the title as Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, a successor to 2007's Umbrella Chronicles.
Darkside Chronicles will utilise the same on-rails style shooting of Umbrella Chronicles according to Kotaku's translation of the Japanese mag, while the Resident Evil 2 timeframe will also remain the same for this next instalment (which makes sense, given Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield's appearance in the scans shown right).
No release date was mentioned for the game, although more details may surface from Resident Evil 5's launch party in San Francisco tomorrow. More as we get it...
