Coen Confirmed For Resident Evil 5??? News
US-based voice actor announces his role in the upcoming survival horror franchise...
By Jon WilcoxPosted: 14/06/2007
Official news on the development of Resident Evil 5 has been thin on the ground since Capcom first confirmed its multi-platform credentials in 2005, especially concerning the identity of the protagonist seen running through the streets in the subsequent teaser trailer.
The question of whether the character is Chris Redfield or Billy Coen remains unanswered (officially, at least), though veteran voice actor Steve Van Wormer may have spilled the beans on his website.
Although now removed from the site, a screen grab of Van Wormer's involvement in the upcoming title mentions his role as Billy Coen in Resident Evil 5 - a role he'd previously held in the GameCube exclusive Resident Evil 0.
Besides killing zombies, Van Wormer is also confirmed to be voicing characters in the upcoming Turok game, and Soul Calibur IV.

But surely a good story is like the icing on a cake? I enjoyed RE4 more than 5, because I felt the intrigue of the series heading into new territory. By comparison RE5 felt completely generic.

"if no-one likes this game because of the story line get a book" then by your logic..we should just play space invaders!

if no-one likes this game because of the story line get a book, if you dont like the controls get a wii.
i first played the demo and didnt like it but i bought the game as there was nothing else. it was the best thing i did completed 5 times got all the trophies apart from the extra content. my only problem was it was a bit short when first time around you complete the game under 5 hours on normal.

Whether it was true DLC or is already on the disc, having to pay for multiplayer = EPIC fail.

Like most people I'm pissed at getting ripped off for game extras when they all used to be free! free add ons gave an incentive to buy the original game for people that did not already have it. I love resi 5 in fact I'm addicted to it, so yes I will pay the £3.99. It's the new trend in gaming and I know the only way to stop it is not to buy the add on but I can't help myself.
