Following the recent release of Resident Evil: Extinction across cinemas, it seems Capcom are keen to keep moviegoers in their seats with the announcement of a Resident Evil partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan Co., Ltd.
Working together on the first full-length CG animation based upon the iconic survival/horror franchise, Biohazard: Degeneration is currently in production for a release in 2008.
Beyond the promise of groundbreaking visual effects and a brand new storyline, unfortunately few details on the project are currently known.

But surely a good story is like the icing on a cake? I enjoyed RE4 more than 5, because I felt the intrigue of the series heading into new territory. By comparison RE5 felt completely generic.

"if no-one likes this game because of the story line get a book" then by your logic..we should just play space invaders!

if no-one likes this game because of the story line get a book, if you dont like the controls get a wii.
i first played the demo and didnt like it but i bought the game as there was nothing else. it was the best thing i did completed 5 times got all the trophies apart from the extra content. my only problem was it was a bit short when first time around you complete the game under 5 hours on normal.

Whether it was true DLC or is already on the disc, having to pay for multiplayer = EPIC fail.

Like most people I'm pissed at getting ripped off for game extras when they all used to be free! free add ons gave an incentive to buy the original game for people that did not already have it. I love resi 5 in fact I'm addicted to it, so yes I will pay the £3.99. It's the new trend in gaming and I know the only way to stop it is not to buy the add on but I can't help myself.
