Office of Film and Literature declines Eidos adaptation entry into Australia...

Australia's Office of Film and Literature Classification has once again been ruffled into action, with confirmation that the governing board has refused classification for Eidos' forthcoming multi-format title, Reservoir Dogs.

Making it illegal to be sold, exhibited or imported into the land of "tinnies" and "shrimps on the barbie", Reservoir Dogs joins a long list of banned videogames (mainly from Rockstar), and will have to undergo censoring to be resubmitted for entry by the surprisingly prudish governing board if Eidos so chooses.

Australia has long since had a problem with Mature rated videogames, refusing to grant classification for titles that are more violent and/or sexually explicit than what a MA15+ rating allows, despite older certificates being available for films across the country.
