Speaking at a conference in the US, Ubisoft's North American President confirms more titles for the next-gen console....

Ubisoft's support of the Nintendo Wii with Rayman Rabid Rabbits and Red Steel points towards the company becoming the number one third-party publisher for the console when it launches towards the end of 2006 - but it seems that Ubi are far from stopping there.

Speaking at the Ziff Davis Electronic Games Summit in Napa, Ubisoft's North American President, Laurent Detoc, has confirmed that a further five titles are already in development for the Wii - though he refused to be drawn on releasing any new details.

The event, which is hosted by the US magazine publishing giant, also saw Midway CEO David Zucker announce his company's support for Nintendo's new console with six titles on the cards. According to several reports emerging online, one of those will be a Wii version of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon, which has already been announced for Xbox and PlayStation2.

We'll have more news on all of these titles as further details emerge...
