THQ confirms Red Faction: Armageddon for a March 2011 release on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC...
THQ has announced that the fourth instalment in Volition's Red Faction series will be released next March on the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
Red Faction: Armageddon was initially spotted over a year ago, but THQ has now started talking about the project officially in the run-up to E3.
This new title focuses on Darius Mason, the grandson of previous Red Faction protagonists. According to the press blurb, he'll be keeping it in the family by fending off Armageddon on Mars.
Multiplayer co-op has been confirmed and Volition's highly destructive Geo-Mod 2.0 technology will be making a return from Red Faction: Guerrilla, which essentially means you'll be able to raze every building in the game to the ground.
