Rockstar pins down a release date of April 27th for its incoming sequel, Red Dead Redemption...
A solid release date of April 27th has emmerged for Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar's sequel to its 2004 action-adventure Western 'em up, Red Dead Revolver. This follows a delay of the title from a late 2009 release to a Winter/Spring 2010 launch window.
The exact date comes from Kotaku, ahead of a new trailer that's scheduled to officially arrive for the open world third-person shooter this Tuesday. We've been lucky enough to see the game in action recently and will be posting our thoughts in the not too distant future.
April 27th is the US date as it's a Tuesday, so the game's likely to arrive in Europe on April 30th.

It's very different from the experience in the first game though. The open world adds a lot to the gameplay and immersion.
