Canned Bond game rumoured to be back in development, early footage leaks...
Singularity developer Raven Software are rumoured to have resumed work on their shelved 007 game following the approval of a bankruptcy rescue plan for troubled Bond studio MGM.
According to Bond fan site MI6, the “stealth-centric” James Bond game has been green-lit by Activision following the recent resolution of MGM’s financial difficulties. The project was originally said to have been put on hold when the Raven team were reassigned to develop Black Ops map packs.
Footage of an early build of the game has surfaced in the show reel of an animator who worked on the project. It shows third person cover/shooting mechanics not dissimilar to Bizarre Creations recent 007: Blood Stone effort, with an emphasis on hand-to-hand combat and melee takedowns. Unlike the scripted takedown animations in Blood Stone however, it appears as though a more comprehensive melee system was developed for Raven's Bond game, with the reel below showing off different animations for blocking and counter-attacks in addition to an extended parkour chase section.

Does anybody else think that the samurai guy slicing up the fly is much more tantalising than the Bond stuff, or is it just me?
