Following two Bond releases last year, Activision now set for another title in 2011...

Speaking during a post-financial report conference call with investors, Activision CEO, Eric Hirshberg has name-dropped a new Bond game which is due for release this year.

"For the balance of the year, we plan to launch games based on the best-selling X-Men and Spider-Man franchises, James Bond and the toy phenomenon Bakugan as well as the latest release in the long-standing Cabela's Hunting franchise, which we're expanding this year to include new peripherals and an incredible Kinect experience," Hirshberg stated.

The new Bond instalment follows in the wake of two Bond releases from the publisher last year: Eurocom's Goldeneye remake and the now defunct Bizarre Creations' 007: Bloodstone. It's believed that this next title is being developed by Raven Software after an employee's show reel (now pulled from the web) appeared to out the project last year.

Does anybody else think that the samurai guy slicing up the fly is much more tantalising than the Bond stuff, or is it just me?
