SCEE completes the latest extension to the decade long partnership with UEFA...
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today confirmed an extension to its deal with UEFA to sponsor the UEFA Champions League, the premier club cup competition in European football.
Taking the partnership, which began back in 1997, up to and including the 2008/09 season, the partnership is seen by SCEE as an important deal as it builds up to the launch of PlayStation3 later in 2006. Making the announcement, SCEE's Vice-President of Brand & Consumer Marketing, Darren Carter said, "PlayStation's involvement with the UEFA Champions League has served us well over the past 9 years and has significantly assisted in promoting the PlayStation brand and boosting its awareness across the whole of Europe and beyond. The UEFA Champions League is an extremely powerful communications tool and has been an important part of PlayStation's communication strategy since 1997, during which time the stature of the competition has increase,d along with the number of PlayStation fans".
Carter added: "Sony Computer Entertainment will be entering a new era of entertainment with the launch of PLAYSTATION 3 later this year, and the UEFA Champions League will help provide a solid foundation for our plans in Europe."

Its A1 crap. I can't understand why you can't use the normal controls if you want rather than the stylus. As a left hander I can't ever see what I'm doing on the screen as my hand covers most of it. Really really disapointed.
