GRID Racing Onto DS Too News

Codies confirms that Race Drive: GRID will be heading onto Nintendo's handheld this summer...

Already scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, Codemasters has today announced that Race Driver: GRID will also be heading for the chequered flag on Nintendo DS this summer.

Launching simultaneously with the other platforms, GRID on DS is in development at Firebrand Games - the team responsible for bringing last year's 'Create and Drive' to the Nintendo handheld - and will feature racing global racing circuits such as the Nurburgring, street races across cities like Washington DC, and drift races in Japan.

Firebrand is also implementing an up to date version of the Track Editor functions from Race Drive: Create and Drive, with over sixty different track parts, and the ability to modify advertising hoardings along the circuit. A 'Free Draw' option is being built in too, enabling gamers to design and race their own track in next to no time.

Besides a solid sounding set of offline features, GRID on DS will also include multiplayer racing for up to four players, along with Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection functionality, giving gamers access to future downloadable content.

	By: Anonymous Added:Mon 02nd Jun 2008 06:59, Post No: 4 this game is crazy once you near the end of you first seasion you get the chane to do a leman 24hr race (though not literally 24 hrs but simulated its awsone) get loads of sponsors all over you motor and your laughing £££££ galore. this game seriously kicks butt i dont think you could call this a 100% simulation but then again neither is grand turismo either. this game just sent that game back to the pits. whats that not bought it yet why not are you mad or just not that good at hardcore racing games well now is the time to practise, get it NOW
	By: Anonymous Added:Sat 31st May 2008 18:21, Post No: 3 best game iv played in ages. tip is to star easy n dont be such a big head n put it on hard to start off with . quick starts come in handy cuz the first corner is a pain to get round with all cars tryin to fight for it and the cars do spin and damage easy 10/10
