Race Driver One, Rise of the Argonauts, and a sequel to Operation Flashpoint is confirmed by the UK publisher...

Following hot on the heels of Race Driver: Create & Race, Codemasters has today confirmed the development of three new titles set to hit PC and so-called 'leading' consoles during the course of 2008.

First up is Race Driver One, which will be the latest instalment in the long-running TOCA series of racing franchise. Bohemia Interactive Studios may have released the spiritual successor to Operation Flashpoint with ArmA: Armed Assault in 2006, but Codies has confirmed that Operation Flashpoint 2 will be arriving across multiple platforms within the next eighteen months. A brand new RPG series, Rise of the Argonauts, completes the triple-bill of titles.

News of the games emerged on UK-based industry publication MCV, which confirmed that two of the three titles, Operation Flashpoint 2 and Race Driver One, will follow Colin McRae: DIRT in using Codemasters' next-generation Neon engine.
