Beginning their support for Sony's PSP, Midway has today revealed the three titles that'll be winging its way onto the handheld system in North America between now and Christmas 2006. All three are spin-offs from some of Midway's already established portfolio, and all are said to feature pick-up-and-play modes suited to the PSP.

This Spring will see the release of NBA Ballers: Rebound, which will see players take to the court as they try to get to the top of the basketball game including Wi-Fi multiplayer modes. Following a period of several months, Mortal Kombat: Unchained will be released in the Autumn, enabling gamers to take the fatalistic body blows on he move, before RUSH arrives in time for Christmas. Part of the Californian driving series, RUSH is set to feature a number of modes across five versions of LA including a stunt arena. Over thirty-six licensed vehicles are set to make their appearance in the game, which will also include Wi-Fi multiplayer modes.

"In 2006, Midway will begin our strong support of the PSP handheld market by bringing some of our top franchises to the system," said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. "All of these titles are perfect for gaming on the go, whether it's a pick-up game of NBA Ballers: Rebound, a quick race in RUSH or a fight to the death in Mortal Kombat: Unchained."

European release periods for the three titles are yet to be confirmed.
