Codies confirms the closure of the Western servers; November 10th to bring about the end of the world...
After three years, Codemasters Online Gaming has announced that it's to shut down the RF Online servers in the west. The decision comes at the end of the publisher's licensing deal with developer CCR, with neither party able to agree the terms of a new contract.
The final full day of gameplay will be on November 9th, with the end of the world arriving to Novus the next morning.
In a statement, COG commented, "We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who declared their allegiance and gave us their support with RF Online over the past few years and especially, to thank all the players who spent countless hours with us in Novus."

You do realise GRID is the last title in the TOCA series which Codemasters started developing back in 1997.

it would be cool if CM would add a new race which uses prehistoric means to fight with the other races, like taming and riding warbeasts and using nature summoning force. just a thought
