Heavy Rain's Cage Denies Horizon Game Speculation News

The CEO and Founder of Quantic Dream, David Cage has denied that his studio is working on a game called Horizon, despite previous speculation linking the developer to such a project.

Rumours emerged last month that Heavy Rain developer, Quantic Dream was setting up casting sessions for the alleged Horizon project, which reportedly had a sci-fi setting and was focused on the relationship of a couple. However, Cage has now flatly denied these claims:

"I don't know where this information comes from but there is no project called Horizon featuring a couple in a science-fiction world currently in development at Quantic Dream," Cage told Eurogamer. "Though if the script is available it sounds like a good idea."

"As you know, I am not particularly secret about Quantic's projects. We will officially announce them as soon as we are ready," he continued. Cage also confirmed that work had started on the developer's next project.

Despite the debunking of these initial rumours surrounding Quantic Dream's next game, it's certainly starting to look like the studio will be sticking with the PS3 platform for whatever its next title turns out to be.
