Sony Online Entertainment confirms the latest addition to PlayStation Network heading to North American PS3s next week...
Sony Online Entertainment has today confirmed that Q*Bert will be released on North American PlayStation 3 units from February 22nd, via the PlayStation Network.
A classic arcade title from the early 1980s, Q*Bert's pyramid colour-changing antics have made it onto a range of platforms over the years, including Commodore 64, GameBoy, and even the original PlayStation.
Hopefully Q*Bert will be making an appearance on European PlayStation3s shortly after the next-gen system on March 23rd.

I had the PlayStation version for a while. The 3D adventure mode was cool, but got too hard after a while and I was bored of it. My brother spent a lot of time playing the Classic mode in the original graphics, and my mom plyed against me in Head to Head mode (the competition got surprisingly intense). There was something in the game for everyone.

Q*Bert was a great game in its day, that will be great if it is a freebie - I've pre-ordered my PS3 for March 23rd - Bring it on!
