Stevey G proves more successful on the virtual pitch than the real one......
Stevey G may not be enjoying the best of form for Liverpool at the moment, much to the amusement of at least half of the TVG team (unlucky Gwynne), but that hasn't deterred Ubisoft from employing his talents to promote their entry into the football genre.
“I’m proud to be the ambassador of Pure Football.” Steven Gerrard claimed on the announcement for Pure Football. “Not only does this game reflect the way I like Football, more physical, more technical, but it’s also a lot of fun to play with friends.”
Pure Football, Ubisoft's attempt to join the competition between EA's FIFA and Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer, is due for release in May 2010 on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
