Leading US retailer prompts Sonic PSP reports, but haven’t Sonic Team already confirmed this...

A recent update from leading US videogame retailer, GameStop, has today suggested that Sonic will be making his debut on the Sony PSP later in the year.

However the announcement isn’t entirely surprising given that Sonic Team’s Yuji Naka had already confirmed development of the not-too-heavily disguised “Project S” for the PSP as far back as last year’s E3 event.

With Shadow the Hedgehog needing to ease the doubts of Sonic fans across the globe, and with Sonic likely making a heavily worked on appearance on the Nintendo DS, is it really that hard to believe that the spikey blue one will be showing up on the PSP at E3?
