SEGA lifts the lid on Project Needlemouse, an "all new" 2D Sonic game featuring HD visuals...
The first details on SEGA's next Sonic game, codenamed Project Needlemouse, have been unearthed, revealing that Sonic will return to his hallowed 2D spawning ground in an "all new" HD adventure.
Project Needlemouse will arrive some time next year and, although no platforms have been formally announced at this time, the promise of HD visuals does at least indicate that the Xbox 360 and/or PS3 will be involved in the fun.
"Speed returns in an all new 2D adventure built from the ground up," boasts a teaser trailer on Gamespot, which has got us quite hot under the collar at the prospect of enjoying Sonic in his traditional form again. After all, it was the classic styled speed sections in last year's Sonic Unleashed that really made the game for us.

hmmm i just cant to see this game come out i feel like this is good for sega to really make a real good becuse sonic 06 is like the worst sonic i Ever played in my life but please sage dont mess this one up and like sonic unlnsed i hope i can played more people then sonic like shadow or just have more then sonic i mean i love sonic but i just want to see more....please sega dont mess this up!!!!!
