Following contradictory reports, Peter Molyneux puts Milo and Kate back on its righteous path...

Lionhead's enigmatic Milo and Kate project has been put through the grinder over the last 24 hours. Firstly comments from Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg appeared to dismiss it as a mere "tech demo" (before he later retracted his words), then MGS' Phil Spencer sparked more debate, and now Peter Molyneux appears to have set the record straight.

Speaking at the GameHorizon conference in Newcastle, Molyneux said, "All that technology that we showed at E3 last year actually does work," in reference to the Milo and Kate demonstration that wowed onlookers during E3 '09.

Molyneux also addressed Greenberg's comments, saying, "Poor Aaron Greenberg - he's on the PR team, he hasn't seen it since last year, so he came up with this stock answer that Milo is alive and well and living in Guildford but it's still a tech demo."

"I feel sorry for him, he hasn't seen the game since last year. If I had spent time with him and showed him the game recently, he'd know what was going on," Molyneux continued.

There you have it. Milo and Kate lives!

Sony better beware of E3,MS are very crafty for announcing games at the last second, unlike Sony which announce their entire lineup years before release

Well that's the point - it's your typical Lionhead tease.
