Bizarre Creations unveil some details surrounding the forthcoming Xbox 360 title...

Bizarre Creations has unveiled some more details surrounding their Xbox 360 title, Project Gotham Racing 3, along with some of the development stats from the game. PGR3 will include a Route Creator, which will allow gamers to design their own tracks as share them over Xbox Live - although whether these will be free to download or whether they will be part of the micro-transaction system is yet to be discussed. The game will also feature 80 â??high-poweredâ?? cars including the Ferrari 430, the Lamborghini Gallardo, and the McLaren F1 LM with players able to drive any of the cars at any time â?“ meaning that the option to complete the race in your favourite vehicle is there from the start.

First spotted in the teaser trailer, PGR3 will also feature fully motion captured crowds that react and respond to the racing by cheering â?“ they will also move away from the crash barriers when a car collides into it. For people who like their stats, Bizarre also announced the following: PGR3 includes a new sound engine that uses 30 different sample, three times more than in PGR2. Not only that, but each car in the game is rendered using approximately 80,000 polygon (about 40,000 for the interior and 40,000 for the exterior) â?“ the cars in PGR2 were created with just 10,000 polygons. But perhaps the most mind-blowing stat of all is this â?“ the same number of polygons used to create PGR3â??s Brooklyn Bridge were used to create an entire city in the first Project Gotham title.

Weâ??ll have more news on PGR3 shortlyâ?¦
